Looking for a great place to visit this summer? I have the perfect place that your entire family will love!! Recently my family and I went to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida. This place was amazing!
When we arrived we were quickly checked in and given our schedule for the day. We then headed to breakfast. I had eggs, sausage, home fries, and an orange juice. After breakfast we met Jason our host for the day. He showed us around the park and then our private cabana. The cabana was really cute and was filled with snacks and drinks. After we put our stuff down we put on our wetsuits and we were ready for the first event.
Our first event was the SeaVenture. This is a cool underwater walking tour where you wear a dive helmet. I was a little scared at first, but once I was underwater I was so glad I did it.
Our next event was the Dolphin Encounter. We got in the water with a dolphin and learned so much about them. I loved how they felt. I even got a kiss from our dolphin.
After swimming with the dolphins we had lunch and then enjoyed some snorkeling. We swam with stingrays and beautiful fish. I also really liked the pretty coral reef.
We also stopped at the aviary where we fed birds. I love birds so this was one of my favorite spots.
The last thing we did was swim down the Serenity Bay. This was a long path that was in 85 degree water. It was so relaxing! You could definitely spend more than one day at Discovery Cove. There is so much to see. This is a place I know I will visit again.
