Friday I had the privilege to do a photoshoot for a great makeup company called Girls Rock Cosmetics. I have been working with Girls Rock Cosmetics since last fall and I really love their products. I also really love the fabulous people that have made this a great company!
On Friday I started my day with Starbucks! I tried the new ice cloud caramel macchiato. I always feel like a good coffee is a great way to start my morning. Then I was off to the shoot. We arrived at Wyndham Grand Bonnet Resort. The property was a site to see! There are so many gorgeous places to take photos. I loved the beautiful lake that was surrounded by all the resorts. Their pool areas were also beautiful.
Our meeting location was in one of the conference rooms. When I arrived to the conference room I was greeted by Jerry Hughes. He is a well know photographer in the cheer and dance world and I was excited to work with him. The moment I met him I knew it was going to be a great day. He was so nice! I had a little bit of time before it was my turn for hair and make up. Since I love looking at resorts I was glad I had arrived early.
After a little exploring of the resort I headed back to the conference room and Crystal Billins started on my hair and makeup. The makeup artist had mad skills because I looked fabulous when she was done. I need to learn how to put on fake eyelashes!
Jill from Girls Rock Cosmetics was so nice and helped me figure out what I would be wearing. I wore three different shirts from their company. I also wore a black jumper outfit and jeans and white shirt outfit of my own. All the outfits I know will look great. Here are some behind the scenes pics my mom took while I was there.
While at the shoot I saw old friends and met some new friends who all love modeling as much as me. Many of them were trying out to be an ambassador for Girls Rock Cosmetics. I’m not sure how they are going to choose what girl they will add because they all were so beautiful.
The day was so much fun and I can’t wait to work with Girls Rock Cosmetics and Jerry Hughes again in May.
